It’s French, it’s fancy, it’s fantastic! Muscadet, the original seafood wine, is making a delightful come back. Muscadet, Langlois Chateau £8.99 Divine with oysters but equally tasty with scallops. For flavours that come together wonderfully, serve scallops with green chilli, coriander and peaches and taste the magic of the Muscadet. The grapes popularity diminished in the 90’s. Hard frosts wiped out the harvest (much like New Zealand Sauvignon grapes this year) and left the market open for Australian wines.
