Warmth from the South

Posted by Ilona Roberts on

Chardonnay's historic roots may be from Burgundy but travel a little further south and Montsable have created an elegant and noble wine.
Chardonnay, Montsable £8.79
Good with fish and chicken
Welcoming citrus fruit flavours that have been shaped by the southern sun give way to lovely texture and subtlety. With only a very brief spell of oak ageing it remains a balanced wine with wide appeal.
Chardonnay grows well in many different climates and is easy to work with in the cellar allowing the winemaker plenty of creative license. Whether its light and elegant or full-bodied and buttery...there is a Chardonnay to suit everyone.
