An elegant and superbly balanced Loire Sauvignon. Light, dry and crisp in the mouth. Delicious gentle gooseberry and lime flavours mix with very subtle tropical notes. With its characteristic hints of flint and smoke it makes a lovely accompaniment to light food or simply enjoyed as an aperitif.
At the Domaine Jean-Pierre Bailly, the Pouilly-Fumé vines are between ten and 40 years old, planted on limestone and clay-limestone soils. The family have been making wine for six generations in the Loire region. Now it is operated by Patrice, who following his father’s footsteps, is producing a wine well-known for its fruity aroma, the charm of this Pouilly-Fumé.
