White Rioja, Monopole, CVNE £7.99

CVNE’s Monopole white Rioja is soft with fruity aromas. Light and fresh on the palate with hints of pear and apple make it an excellent aperitif and a great companion to fish and chicken dishes.

CVNE (Compañía Vinícola del Norte del España), was founded in 1879 in the town of Haro in Rioja.  Positioned close to railway tracks which drove into the cellar to transport the wine more easily. It was founded by two brothers and today is still controlled by the direct descendants of the founding family. The winery is now composed of 22 buildings, which include the original 1879 premises, as well as the plant designed and built by the Eiffel architectural studio in 1909.
